NANOCLEAN is a highly durable and washable interior acrylic paint with luxurious sheen finishing. It is specially formulated with Hybrid Technology from Germany. The paint particles consist of Nano Fluorocarbon and Nano Silver (Ag+), which makes the paint smooth and resistant to bacteria (tested with 5 common bacteria). This makes stains that attached to the surface of the paint can be easily cleaned without damaging the surface. It is also low odour and low VOC making it environmentally friendly.
NANOCLEAN is specially formulated for application on concrete, new and old masonry surfaces, plasters, bricks, asbestos shingles and sidings. It is highly recommended for use in children’s room, hospitals, kindergartens, restaurants and hallways.
Application methods: Brush, roller or spray gun
Mixing Ratio (by volume): The paint is ready for use after thorough stirring For sealing new or bare surface thin up to 10% with clean water
Thinner / Cleaner: Clean Water
Dry to Touch: 20-30 mins, depending on ambient temperature
Dry to Overcoat: 1 – 2 hours (maximum indefinite)
Spreading Rate: 8 – 10 m2 / Litre
Wet Film Thickness: 90 – 110μ
Dry Film Thickness: 30 – 35μ
New and Bare Surfaces
New plastered surfaces must be allowed to dry thoroughly at least 28 days or less than 12% moisture content as measured with a moisture meter. All surfaces to be painted must be sound, dry, clean and free from oil, grease, dirt, mildew, releasing agent, curing compounds and other foreign bodies.
Previously Painted Surfaces
All loose or defective paint or powdery residues shall be removed by brushing and scrapping using a stiff fiber brush or high pressure water jet. Any area affected by mould, algae, lichen, moss and fungus shall be treated with TOA Micro Kill. Make good any surface imperfection with suitable weather resistant putty or sealant. Ensure surface is dry, clean, and free from dirt, grease or wax prior to application of paint. Porous surface with high absorption should first prime with Wallsila 900 sealer.
