Roof Paint

ROOF PAINT is a highly durable pure acrylic paint with excellent light fasting, fungus resistance, slip resistance properties. It is specially formulated with low dirt collection binder and pigments. It is easy to apply and quick to form a smooth yet tough and durable film layer over surfaces. The slip resistance properties also makes it suitable for tennis, basketball courts.

Product Usage

ROOF PAINT is specially formulated for protection on old and new roofs such as cement fiber sheets, metal roofs and unglazed roof tiles. It is not recommended for glazed tiles. The slip resistance properties also makes it suitable for tennis, basketball and badminton courts.

Application Details

Application methods: Brush, roller or air spray
Mixing Ratio (by volume): The paint is ready for use after thorough stirring For sealing new or bare surface thin up to 10% with clean water
Thinner / Cleaner: Clean Water
Dry to Touch: 30 min., depending on ambient temperature
Dry to Overcoat: 4 hours (minimum)
Spreading Rate: 9 – 10 m2 / Litre
Wet Film Thickness: 80μ
Dry Film Thickness: 32μ

Surface Preparation

New and Bare Surfaces
All loose or defective paint or powdery residues shall be removed by brushing and scrapping using a stiff fiber brush or high pressure water jet. Any area affected by mould, algae, lichen, moss and fungus shall be treated with TOA Micro Kill. Make good any surface imperfection with suitable weather resistant putty or sealant. Ensure surface is dry, clean, and free from dirt, grease or wax prior to application of paint.

Previously Painted Surfaces
